Our Story

John and Susan Alvarado, the owners of Johns Custom Pest Control, moved to Albuquerque in 2006 from East Hampton, NY. John, a former Fire Captain, developed a passion for entomology (the study of insects) and entomology from Purdue University. After obtaining his New Mexico State Pest Control license, John and Susan started Johns Custom Pest Control. The company focuses on using Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques to minimize the use of pesticides and ensure a safe and effective solution for the customer.
