Our History

The Bug Man, Inc. was founded by William T. McCauley on March 1, 1976. With years of experience in the pest management industry, Bill McCauley started the company with faith that God would bless the company and him. Throughout his career, Bill often emphasized that "God owns The Bug Man, Inc., I just manage it." His daughter and son-in-law now run the franchise in Searcy, covering the northeast part of Arkansas, while Bill's oldest daughter manages the central portion of the state.

Before they are sent into the field, all new employees complete many hours of closely supervised classroom training. We require that all new employees graduate from the Purdue University Pest Management Course and the Purdue University Termites & Other Wood Destroying Pests Course. Our technicians are updated monthly on new methods and safer techniques to ensure they are always equipped to handle any situation.
